This song reminds me that sometimes the most goth thing of all isn't to wallow in despair. Instead to celebrate the beauty of the macabre. A dream which for some might be a nightmare, yet to those who want to look beyond convention, a midnight dance with the animated dead. Sometimes I fear Tears For the Dying is too honest and strange to ever feel the embrace of mainstream audiences. I hope they do find the attention of our darkscene. Other artists in the know, know Tears For the Dying.

lyrics
Wake to figures across my room
Shadows silent come near
A hand in the dark appears
Am I still dreaming?
Whispers say you’re at the end
Can’t move away
Feel their bones around my wrist
Nothing left here anyway
See me, hear me, take my hand
Let’s go for a walk in the boneyard
See me, hear me, take my hand
Let’s dance in the fog
A part remains bound within
Echoes of another day
Stones skip silent across the pond
Ripples fade before the shore
The darkest hour before the dawn
Wakes the shadow of a waning moon
Blue stars shimmer in the cold above
They never mattered anyway
See me, hear me, take my hand
Let’s go for a walk in the boneyard
See me, hear me, take my hand
Let’s dance it away
A cry for help, lingers in the air
itsumo sabishi, no one there
I wanna be like a falling meteor in the sky
Or a blooming gardenia to make you smile
See me, hear me, take my hand
Let’s go for a walk in the boneyard
See me, hear me, take my hand
Let’s dance in the fog

It's uncanny just how good Actors is at emulating that Post-Punk synth sound from my younger days.
Each listen just gets better and better. I feel slightly ashamed for not having heard this album until a few short days ago. modestwriggles
